Park City, Utah

As I mentioned in my introduction, Steve and I love to travel and have visited some amazing places. I thought my first photography post would be about my “most” favorite outdoor traveling adventure. O.K. maybe not my most favorite, there’s too many great trips to name just one, but this trip is definitely high on the list!

5/9/2008 - 5/16/2008
Location: Park City, Utah
Lodging: Marriott’s Mountain Side
Travelers: Steve & Christine

I would recommend a trip to Northern Utah for any outdoor enthusiast. Steve and I found endless adventures in nature and could not put our camera’s down. For us the weather was perfect, bright warm sun and clear blue skies. Snow was still fairly deep at the tops of the mountains and the animals were out and about. Marriott’s Mountain Side was a classy and modern lodge, with great rooms and several outdoor hot tubs, perfect for chilly evenings. We went hiking, city sight seeing, animal tracking, hot crater swimming, horseback trail riding...with time still available to relax.
I’m going to share only five of our best photos for each post in an attempt not to overwhelm. Each photograph will include a brief description. Enjoy and be inspired by nature!

We spotted a momma moose and her babies the first day we were in Park City.
The babies were very cooperative, but momma was giving us the evil eye.

In Sundance, we enjoyed a snowy hike to Stewart Falls and back.

The beautiful Stewart Falls.

We’re not big city fans, but we enjoyed our quick trip to downtown Salt Lake City.

During our trip to Salt Lake City, we made a visit to Antelope Island. It was totally worth it!
We saw so many animals on the island and some great views, like this one.

What's your most favorite outdoor traveling adventure?

Let's Begin with Introductions

I love nature and being in the outdoors. If I could hike, climb, travel, camp out, trail run, take pictures, cook over the fire, and frolic with dogs and wildlife (you get the point) for most hours of the day, I would. I think a lot of other people out there feel the same way. Obviously this would not pay the bills, but it would be awesome to find an occupation with a list of those job responsibilities.

My name is Christine and I am 27 years young. My best friend and husband, Steve, and I are high school sweethearts and just recently tied the knot on June 25th, 2011. Steve and I have two, yellow labs, Rocky and Nemo. Rocky and Nemo are brothers and are 8 years young. They are best of friends, and our whole world.

The four of us spend a lot of time outdoors…hiking, trail running, rock climbing, kayaking, etc. Steve and I also enjoy traveling and even though we are young, we’ve seen a lot of the world. Since the beginning, Steve and I have documented everything we do through photographs. Each time we come home from a trip, I create a photo album or scrapbook and share all of our photos and stories with friends and family. A Life Inspired by Nature is a way for me to share all the inspirational things we’ve found in nature through photography to more than just our family and friends. It is for anyone who loves to see photos of the outdoors, places around the world, and of course, dogs.

I hope the photos I share here will encourage you to live a life inspired by nature.

-Christine
